Engineering Technician Jac is no longer dizzy over decimals now that she has refreshed her maths and boosted her confidence with the Multiply team. Jac wanted to strengthen her maths skills so that she could help others at work while supporting them with their studies.
Jac attended a 2-hour session each week for 4 weeks, covering numerous topics.
The session content and timings were tailored around her needs and work commitments so that she could get the most out of her experience.
During the sessions, Jac was offered valuable advice and guidance on how developing maths skills and confidence helps with everyday life, and how gaining a maths qualification opens doors and improves job prospects.
Having completed these workshops, Jac weighed up her options and calculated the best career pathway and has signed up for the City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
To sum up, Jac said “I now feel confident enough to study to retake my maths GCSE as I have learnt to love maths. I plan to re-sit my GCSE next year.”
